What’s the difference between a reimbursable employer and a contributory (taxable) employer?

A reimbursable employer is usually a government agency or a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

You’ll need:

You may qualify for benefits if you had to leave your job in order to relocate due to a spouse’s Permanent Change of Station (PCS) order.

Do I need to actively search for work while receiving benefits?

Yes. Just like other applicants, ex-service members must certify weekly and actively search for work as required by the VEC.

Yes, you may qualify for unemployment benefits under the Unemployment Compensation for Ex-Service Members (UCX) program.

How do I update my personal information on my unemployment claim?

If you need to update your name, date of birth, address, or other contact information, you can complete the official Request for Information Change form and submit it by fax.
