How do I update my business name, address, or login information for my Unemployment Insurance tax account?

You can update your account information in one of two ways:

  1. Online: Log into your Employer Self Service (ESS) account to make changes quickly and securely.
  2. By Form: Complete the FC-20C Change Notice form if you prefer to update your information by mail, email, or fax.

Once completed, submit the form using one of the following methods:

  • Email: employer.accounts@vec.virginia.gov
  • Fax: 804-786-5890
  • Mail: Send it to the address listed at the top of the FC-20C form
