Filing reports with more than 25 employees is quick and easy with Business iFile (limit 99 employees) and Web Upload (no limit).

Starting August 1, 2026, you will need to access your employer account through a new ESS portal hosted by VEC and available at:
https://employerselfservice.vec.virginia.gov
This upgraded system is designed to better protect employer information and prevent fraud, so everyone, including third party representatives, will now sign in through ID.me. If you don’t already have an ID.me account or need help getting started, visit:
You can use both the current portal and the new ESS portal until July 31, 2026, but don’t delay. Start using the new portal today to ensure a smooth transition.
