Can I still receive benefits if I quit my job or was fired?

If you or your employer reports that your separation from employment was due to quitting, resigning, or being fired, you and your employer will be required to provide information on the reason why you became separated from your employment. You and your employer will then receive a decision about whether or not you are qualified to receive benefits based on why you are no longer working.
