The Chesapeake/Portsmouth Employer Advisory Committee meets quarterly on the third Wednesday of January, April, July and October. Member businesses volunteer to host meetings at their respective locations, affording each the opportunity to highlight their firm's recent developments or initiatives. Facility Tours are offered when possible. Employers in the cities of Chesapeake and Portsmouth who are interested in an opportunity to network with other company representatives, should contact the VEC office.

The Norfolk/Virginia Beach Employer Advisory Committee meets on the first Thursday of each month. Meetings are held at the business location of a host member to exchange general business information, develop partnerships and networking. Any employer representative who would like to receive meeting announcements and newsletters should call the manager at the following VEC Field Office: Norfolk: Adrienne Brown 757-455-0810.

Meets quarterly at various member business locations. Programs or selected discussion topics at the meetings are of interest and benefit to the nine-county employer community. Tours of the host member's facility are also provided following the meeting.
