Requirements for Posting a Job Fair (scheduled event)
This form is for posting a scheduled Job Fair (event). Please DO NOT post jobs here. They should be posted on the Virginia Workforce Connection
- The job fair must be free of any admission charge or fee, and open to the general public.
- This form may not be used to promote company seminars, promotional events, or sales meetings.
- If the job fair you are submitting is 'VEC sponsored' you must contact the Manager of the VEC Local Office in your area and confirm the availability of VEC facilities and sponsorship before submitting this form.
- This form may be used to submit information relating to a JOB FAIR being held by an individual employer seeking applicants for more than one job opening within the company. We encourage employers to submit their request at least 2 to 3 weeks prior to the job fair in order to get maximum online publicity for the event. As an additional opportunity to fill company job openings with qualified candidates we strongly encourage employers to submit a job order with the VEC by logging on to: The Virginia Workforce Connection.
If this is not a scheduled Job Fair with a date, a start time and an end time (event), this will not be accepted. The Virginia Employment Commission reserves the right to deny any or all requests, without notice that do not fit its requirements.
