Warm Hearth Village is a single campus, independent community situated on 220 beautiful wood acres in Blacksburg, VA. The Showalter Center, recognized as a gold standard in the valley, is Warm Hearth’s stand-alone assisted living community. Located in a four-story building near the heart of Warm Hearth’s campus, the center offers its 90 residents extensive activities programming, updated dining facilities, and an experienced on-site nursing staff.

Warm Hearth was founded in 1974 by Wybe and Marietje Kroontje, Dutch immigrants who came to the U.S. after World War II.
