A group home licensed to service the needs of adults with intellectual disabilities is seeking qualified individuals to serve in the role of Full-Time, Team Leader. This complex position has a compensation range based on experience. These individuals must have at least a high school diploma and preferably have 2 years of experience providing supports to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a group home environment. This position requires a very High Level of professionalism, attentiveness and strong leadership skills. The temperament to accept coaching with the ability to make sound judgement calls in challenging situations firmly based on policy and procedures. Knowledge of the various complexities and needs associated with the ID and duly diagnosed population. This person must also be extremely capable of understanding and implementing ISP, structured behavioral plans and interventions. In addition, availability to attend on going paid mandatory specialized training. Knowledge of the medical field, terminology which includes working directly with doctors, nurses and therapists. Demonstrates time management, leadership skills, being a team player and rotating on call.
