Starting Salary: $38,000

 ($39,500 upon academy graduation)

Join us Saturday, October 2nd , 2021 for a WVRJ Recruitment and Applicant Testing Day!

• Choose your testing time of either 9:00 a.m. or 11:00 a.m. (park in the visitor’s parking lot of 5885 W. River Rd. Salem 24153 and enter through the main doors to the lobby)
• Applicants are encouraged to show up with a completed “WVRJ Application”.  However, paper applications will be available for completion onsite.  To complete a “WVRJ Application” online, visit: https://www.wvarj.org/165/How-to-ApplyApplication-Process
• First, a written test will be completed (applicants must bring a valid driver’s license in order to test)
• Next, applicants will complete a physical agility test (wear comfortable athletic clothing for this portion)
• Then an initial interview will take place (bring a change of clothing)
