Job Description:

Provide direct, daily support to individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in both residential and community settings.
Monitor clients’ progress toward their personal goals, giving assistance as needed.
Maintain a thorough understanding of and assists with and implements person-centered plans.
Work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure client needs are understood and served.
Assist with household tasks as needed, such as food preparation and cleaning.
Work with teammates to ensure a safe, healthy environment within the home.

What you’ll need: High school diploma or equivalent.

Satisfactory completion of Direct Care Professional and Medication Administration training courses within one year of hire (we offer on-the-job training for this!)
Once hired, must maintain certification in CPR/First Aid and other required trainings (also offered by us!)
Must pass required pre-employment screenings, including, but not limited to, criminal history, drug screening and reference verification.
A Virginia driver’s license with at least 0 points.
