Walk In Interviews Event - Movers and Non CDL Drivers

Interstate Moving is now hiring Movers and Non CDL Drivers and conducting Walkin Interviews in our Springfield VA office. Feel free to stop by Monday through Friday to get an interview and immediate hiring decision.

Responsibilities:

Drivers: *Drivers License Required and prior experience driving Large Trucks in past positions (Box, Straight, 16' or 24' )*

This driver serves and the supervisor of the company vehicle and is responsible for the loading and unloading of his company truck.

Residential Movers: Load and unload vehicles containing household goods, furniture or other goods in a safe and careful manner.

Logistics Mover: Loading and unloading of office furniture and art work, office furniture, home or other office products.

Qualifications:

  • Write, speak and understand English.

  • The employee will need to be physically able to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

  • In addition, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance.

  • The employee will frequently lift and/or move more than 75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 200 pounds with the assistance of others and proper equipment.

  • (For Drivers) Drivers Drivers License REQUIRED

  • (For Drivers) Prior experience driving large trucks in past positions REQUIRED

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma (or GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

EDUCATION:

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid Driver’s Licenses is required for Drivers roles only.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
