The City of Newport News Public Works Department is hosting an in person job fair on Thursday, September 30th from 1pm-5pm, and Friday, October 1st from 9am-12pm. the job fair will be held at the Brittingham-Midtown Community Center (570 McLawhorne Dr, Newport News, VA 23601).
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with the Newport News Public Works divisions — Stormwater, Wastewater, Solid Waste and Street Maintenance — about the various positions that are currently open.
Attendees will be able to participate in on-site interviews and the Brittingham-Midtown Community Center’s computer lab will be available for attendees to submit job applications.
