Please note the hours of operation for this VEC location:  VEC staff members are on site on Tuesday and Thursday only. The building is open from 8:30am until noon, and 1:00pm till 4:00pm. The office is closed between noon and 1:00pm for lunch.

If you are filing a claim for Unemployment Insurance (UI) benefits in Virginia it is recommended that you use our online services as a first option since you will be able to reach the VEC quicker online than by telephone. Internet claim filing can be accessed from our Unemployment Insurance Web Site.
