This office is part of a new program by the VEC designed to serve businesses, claimants, and job seekers. 'Reemploy Virginia' is a team approach to plan and deliver reemployment services in communities around the Commonwealth.
The goal is to assist employers in filling job vacancies and in assisting individuals in returning to work. Assistance will be provided with the Virginia Workforce Connection, the site where employers may post job openings and job seekers can register and find suitable jobs.
Employers with job opportunities will be identified and the 'Reemploy Virginia' team will provide assistance in matching job seekers with available jobs. VEC staff that provides unemployment insurance assistance to claimants will advise and refer claimants to those services that are available to them.
Office hours are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., and Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m
