Employer Advisory Committees (EACs)

The Employer Advisory Committee (EAC) is sponsored by the Virginia Employment Commission (VEC) as a forum for the communication between the VEC and employers. The EAC provides valuable information on a variety of topics of interest to human resource professionals and an opportunity to provide valuable input concerning VEC programs and services.

Since employer taxes generate the VEC funding base, it was deemed important that employers be encouraged to join with VEC management to address these identified needs. The EAC is a vehicle for building a partnership between employers and the VEC. The EAC also provides a mechanism for professional growth and development for employers who participate.
